NAME

  mkbko  - make backout copy of file in [../]backout|old


SYNOPSIS

  mkbko  -options file[s]


DESCRIPTION

  If  one  does  not already exist, make a backout copy of the specified files within
  the old, ../old, backout, ../backout, or specified  directory.   The  backout  copy
  will have a *.YYYYMMDD[.HHMM] date/time stamp.


OPTIONS

  -quiet Do no report anything.

  -Quiet Do not report existing backouts just copies made.

  -i mask
         With wildcard files mask to ignore via egrep, defaults as " _.|~$".

  -l directory
         Specify backout location.

  -u     Use  export  UAK_BKO=directory  backout location.  -p Use /backout.push with
         sudo implied.

  -sudo  Re-invoke with sudo.  -version Show command version.

  -*     Any other option displays usage infomation.


EXAMPLES

   b1n6: mkbko -Q ckbko mkbko df-h
    cp -p: ./backout/mkbko.20090110.0748

   b1n6: mkbko ckbko mkbko df-h
   Exists: ./backout/ckbko.20090110
   Exists: ./backout/df-h.20080930
   Exists: ./backout/mkbko.20090110.0748
