sik - Shakspearean Insult Kit (aka, Vendor Response Kit)
sik [count]
The sik command started as an example program for C structures, pointers, and use
of random number generators.
sik was subsequently found to be useful for venting frustrations in what to call
vendor support organizations who give inane advice to problems such as:
Re-install the operating system from scratch.
Upgrade to the newest release.
You have too many patches applied.
I have never seen that before.
That is not supposed to happen. [ahem, that is why we called!]
The default count is 50 insults.
Generate five insults: java: sik 5 Thou warped earth-vexing apple-john. Thou beslubbering beef-witted malt-worm. Thou saucy folly-fallen coxcomb. Thou infectious crook-pated haggard. Thou rank onion-eyed strumpet. Use an insult as the subject of a mail message: java: echo "hello, ;-)" | mailx -s "`sik -1`" snkac java: mail From snkac Mon May 17 19:04:24 1999 Date: Mon, 17 May 1999 19:04:24 -0800 (AKDT) From: kurt carlson <snkac> To: snkac Subject: Thou churlish toad-spotted miscreant. hello, ;-) ? d1
